Allpass-Lowpass Reverberator in ADSP-2181 EZ-KIT Lite

The reverberator shown in Fig 1-1 is built by cascading allpass filters(AP1-AP4) and lowpass filters(LP1-LP4). The strategy is shorter reverberation times in early allpass loops and longer reverberation times in later ones. Also, the cutoff frequency for each successive lowpass filter is gradually lower, simulating the increasing loss of high frequency energy[1]. Read more »
